OS/2 & eCS drivers and software package – commercial edition

Product Description

This product contains all the latest drivers for OS/2 and eComStation developed by Arca Noae; in addition it gives your company, organization, or government agency access to a large repository of software which can be installed using our simple to use GUI.

Drivers

The driver downloads section contains the latest version of:

• ACPI: essential on modern hardware and for multiple processor support
• USB 1.x and 2.0; supports mice, keyboards, printers and mass storage devices
• AHCI for SATA disks
• Multimac: drivers for network cards, wired only (Ethernet); WiFi is currently under development
• Uniaud: drivers for sound, ALSA compatible
• Panorama: generic graphics driver
• JFS: file system driver

Some drivers may not be immediately available for download, but will be added soon. Additional drivers may also be added in the future.

Software repository

By buying this product your company also gains access to a large repository of ready-to-install software, ranging from system utilities, compilers to web browser and games. With our in-house developed graphical interface tool your IT staff can install these software packages with only a few clicks.

Subscription

This product is a subscription; it entitles your company to the newest versions of drivers and software for a period of 12 months after purchase. After these 12 months you can no longer download the drivers or access our software repository unless your company renews its subscription. However, your company’s currently installed software will continue to work. Your IT staff can also (re)install the drivers and software on your company’s systems after its subscription ends.

Also note that this product is not a license for OS/2 or eComStation; your company must have a legal copy of either operating system.

Commercial edition

The Commercial edition is intended for enterprises, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. It is priced per-system (one physical workstation or server, or one active virtual machine), with volume discounts available. In addition, the commercial edition entitles the subscribing entity to prioritized support and elevated consideration of feature and enhancement requests, as well as requests for new packages.

By purchasing this product the customer agrees, that we send his complete address to the manufacturer.
