bww bitwise works GmbH provides selected software ports for the OS/2 platform. A port often requires various open source libraries. We do not only provide a specific software but also versions of these libraries for OS/2. These libraries may be used to provide ports of other software that makes use of them. Samba is the standard Windows interoperability suite of programs for Linux and Unix. Thanks to our work, not only for Linux and Unix, but also for OS/2. While OS/2 comes with native support for NetBIOS and NetBIOS over TCP/IP and components for LAN services, both client- and serverwise, these components date back to the nineties. bww bitwise works GmbH provides a Samba Client and Server port that ensures connectivity for OS/2 without compromising security of the connecting partner, no matter whether server or client.Manufacturer:
